Recently, I was out with my baby son shopping at a major retail store that wil remain nameless. Naturally, as it always seems to happens…my son had a messy diaper. So I find the restroom that has one of those diaper changing stations to use in changing a dirty diaper. You’ve undoubtedly seen these everywhere.
Well, as fate would have it, the table was a mess. The strap was broken and there was graffiti all over the thing. You can only imagine this if it happened to you, but think of how it is to lay your child down on top of a message like “For a great ——- call Monica at 82….!” And that was amongst the more subtle messages on it.
Now I don’t have a clue as to what possesses someone to do this on a changing table. The stall doors and walls, yea, I can see it. But not on a changing table for babies! Needless to say, it was the fastest I ever changed a diaper before.
Has this ever happened to you? Have you ever had an experience like this with trying to change your child’s diaper? I’d love to hear it so I know it isn’t just me.
