How much more outrageous can this AIG bonus fiasco become? The more that politicians get involved, the deeper the hole they dig for themselves.

Both Geithner and Dodd should resign, or in Geithner’s case, be fired. The whole lot of them are all in bed together with each other and they all knew about this months ago.
I have to say though, this bonus flap has been a good smokescreen for the bigger issues at hand. Like, what about the more than $50 billion of our tax money that has been shipped to banks overseas by AIG? Or what about the Merrill bonuses which run over $3 billion themselves?
When you look at these other two issues you quickly see how $165 million looks like chump change. The point is…when does this stop? When do the American people say enough is enough?
I can only hope that come election time in 2010, the people vote every one of these incumbents that have supported these sweetheart bailout deals out of office. If we don’t stand up now then we may as well never say another word.
I’m so fed up with AIG and their continued need for more money. I’d like to know how you feel? Where do you stand on the issue?
