In one of the more sick and bizarre stories we’ve come across in quite some time, the news out of China is that a husband and wife cut the head off another man and served it in a soup to their sick daughter, believing it would cure her psychiatric issues.

According to a local Chinese newspaper, the incident happened in the Sichuan province. The couple had heard about a special soup made with a man’s head and then made the decision to go forward with it for their daughter.

The story goes on to say that the husband enlisted the help of another man in December 08′ who knocked out a drunken 76 year old passer-by. After knocking him unconscious they beheaded him.

Shortly after, the couple then prepared their 25 year old daughter the soup made from the man’s head, along with a duck.

A local Chinese court sentenced the murderer to a death penalty, but then gave him a 2 year reprieve. The wife was also convicted of helping destroy evidence that included items bloody shoes and clothing from both the victim and the murderer.

What the paper didn’t report though was whether the soup worked or not, and what the name of this concoction is. Regardless, make no mistake about it…there are some seriously sick individuals on this planet.
