In another bizarre story that only keeps getting bigger, a coed’s virginity selling for over $3.7M is spreading around the net. Bids continue to pour in for a one night sexual rendevous with 22 year old Natalie Dylan of San Diego, CA.
The infamous Bunny Ranch in Nevada is handling the auction and providing the location for the high bidder. Nevada is the only state in the union that allows prostitution.
Natalie Dylan has been talking about her need for college tuition and felt this was the best way to accomplish it. She’s appeared on the Howard Stern show and had numerous other media interviews.
What are your thoughts on this woman selling her virginity? I can think of a LOT of other things to do with $3.7 million than giving it to Natalie Dylan for a one night stand.
I think it is kind of sleazy, and if I lasted until age 22 still a virgin, I doubt that I would be willing to just give my virginity to just anybody. How can we be sure that she really is a virgin?
Ha ha, more than likely she is not a virgin and I’ll be amazed if some desperate guy actually pays once he wins. The story doesn’t pan out to make much sense and I hope she wasn’t aiming for ‘positive’ publicity because she’ll only end up a laughing stock!
I think Natalie is obviously a very smart young woman. She’s going to loose her virginity at some time or another so she might as well get what she can for it. Stacey & Mallory might have gotten a dinner & a movie or maybe just a couple of beers for theirs. They’re just jealous, get over it.
This is not a judgment call, ok? I don’t care one way or the other who’s more stupid…her or the guy paying for the virgin mary. I honestly don’t care about the moral implications. She’s not doing anyone any harm as far as I can see. What I’m thinking about are the logistics involved in her decision. It’s confusing…And with that being said…
The girl is a virgin, yes? One would assume then that she has a certain moral standard to have retained her virginity in a society that pretty much condones pre-marital sex. To have stayed a virgin this long, it would be safe to assume that she was saving it for a reason, ie: Someone special, marriage or whatever…I mean, isn’t that what most people say when they are a virgin at the age of 25 or so?? If that’s the case, how does one then come to a decision to sell something that they considered special? It is hard to believe that someone would save it for this specific reason…money for college. I’m not sure I’m buying into that being the only reason for this.
I guess there’s also the possibility that she is butt-ugly (I don’t know what the girl looks like) and couldn’t get laid if she paid somebody. In the case that this woman has a bad case of the “uglies”, she could advertise her virginity online, thus creating a demand for something that is in short supply …well in anybody of legal age, that is and honestly, morals aside I have to say that is a genious marketing stragegy and kudos to her. Most guys I know would bang an ugly virgin just so they could say they got to tag a virgin. BUT, I don’t know what guy would actually pay for a butt-ugly virgin, unless of course he was a butt-ugly rich guy who just can’t get laid or wants a taste of something he has never had…ok, well that line of thought could go on and on…so back to the original question…Why save it if you were just going to auction it off like a piece of furniture or a car? Yes she will most likely get paid well for it, but how is she going to feel later on when her daughter asks her how it was for her when she had sex for the first time…and yes, girls will sometimes ask that question.
And she says she is doing this to pay for college? Has she never heard of applying for scholarships or financial aid?? Granted, not everyone is qualified for either of those options either intellectually or financially…but then that still leaves the dreaded student loan. But in this day and age, many, not all, but many kids are being raised with the Veruca Salt mentality (I don’t care how, I want it NOW!) and hard work is no longer taught in many households…mine included so I do not feel I am speaking out of turn. My children could stand to learn a few lessons regarding hard work and that you have to work to get what you want because it is not going to always be handed to you.
I wonder if this girl has thought beyond the act itself. I wonder what brought her to make this decision. ALSO, she doesn’t have an option as to who she sleeps with…whoever pays the most wins the prize, right? I shudder to think of what she may end up with. I for one cannot get naked with someone I don’t find at least somewhat attractive…BUT that’s just me.
Which leaves the last question I have…If she’s so willing to sell herself to pay for college, why hasn’t she considered becoming a stripper like so many other girls who strip to put themselves through college?? In doing that she can keep her goodies clean and pure while she makes her money. Granted she won’t make quite as much money, but when you look at the whole picture, she would be paying a lesser price for stripping than she would by selling something that was once considered a virtue…
