In a bizarre story out of Ohio, 28 year old Kile Wygle has been charged with drunk driving…on a motorized bar stool! Yes, you read that right, on a motorized bar stool.

According to Newark, OH police, Wygle admitted to drinking at least 15 beers at a local tavern and then attempted to drive off on his motorized bar stool. You know what happened next. Yep, he crashed.

It seems that Mr. Wygle crashed the bar stool alongside the road and was injured. Police got the call that there was an injury wreck and rushed to the scene to find the motorized bar stool wrecked. They also found a very intoxicated Mr. Wygle along with it.

Wygle was charged with driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license. Thankfully, no one else was injured and the only property damage was to the bar stool.

According to police, Wygle claims the bar stool is capable of reaching speeds up to 38 mph, but says he was only going 20 mph at the time.

Amazingly, Wygle has entered a not guilty plea and requested a jury trial.
