In the you have to be kidding events of the day, someone named Julian Jones got on the phone to the owners of the NBA Sacremento Kings and asked if they would be interested in signing Terrell Owens to the squad.

It seems that some guy named Julian Jones, whoever he is, got the Maloof brothers on the phone and said he knew how they could sell a LOT of tickets to their games. At that point he put T.O. on the phone.

Owens reportedly told the Maloof’s he has had enough of the NFL and is ready to play in the NBA. Says he would be a forward.

There is no word on whether the team is actually considering the offer or not.

T.O. appeared in the celebrity game at the NBA All-Star event last weekend and drew some eyes for his Dominique like dunk. But is he NBA material?

There’s no question of his physical condition. Most likely, he could play some minutes. The big question is would this just be another T.O. sideshow?

I’m sure David Stern would like to avoid this at all costs. If things progress it will be interesting to see how it ends. What are your thoughts on T.O. suiting up in the NBA?
