In a bizarre incident Sunday at the Scientology Celebrity Centre in Hollywood, CA, Mario Majorski, 48, was killed as he wildly swung samurai swords at guests.

Majorski apparently has had issues with the church in the past and security was aware of it. As Majorski drove up to the church and got out, he began swinging the swords at guards who approached to disarm the man. No one else was injured.

Majorski was later taken and pronounced dead at Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center.

According to Detective Wendi Berndt, the whole incident was filmed by security cameras, although she said the tapes will not be released due to the extremely graphic nature of the incident.

Although the case will go to the District Attorney’s office for review, by all accounts the shooting was justified to prevent Majorski from killing and maiming others around him at the church.
