New from Polk is a handy device for those who own an Apple iPhone or iPod. Called the Polk Audio Midock Portfolio iPod Speaker Dock, this new design is lightweight and compact, which means you can enjoy any type of music anywhere you go. But how well does it really work? Let’s take a look.  

One of the things I found to be very nice was in the speaker quality. They employ a high-efficiency digital amplification technology that provides excellent sound in all ranges. This unit runs on 4AA batteries and on average will give you 8 hours of playback time. It also includes a power adaptor as you might expect.

It features an auxillary input which makes connecting it to your computer or CD player a breeze. Best of all, when you dock iPhone or iPod the unit charges it as well. Comes complete with carrying bag.
