It was recently announced that Sarah McLachlan will receive the humanitarian award the this Spring’s Juno Awards. She has long been associated and helped raise funds for many issues.

The Juno Awards and the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences are similar to the Grammys here in the U.S.

Some of the areas that Sarah McLachlan is a big part of include animal protection, childrens causes and poverty. She also was the founder of Lility Fair.

The award is to be given out on March 28th.

It’s nice to see her win the award. When it only seems like you hear stories of muscians and celebrities doing outrageous things today, it is great to see stories such as this.
