It seems that McDonalds was serving out more than just a happy meal recently at a Fayetteville, AR restaurant. Phillip and Tina Sherman claim the manager posted up nude photos of Tina Sherman online after Phillip Sherman left the phone at the restaurant.
It all started when Tina sent nude photos of herself to her husbands cell phone. He was eating at the Fayetteville McDonalds and forgot the phone. Next, the nude photos suddenly showed up on a website, along with her name, address and phone number.
In the suit, the Sherman’s claim that store manager, Aaron Brummley, had the phone and was going to hold onto it until Phillip Sherman could come back in and pick it up. In the process, Brummley is accused of checking out the photos and then posting them online before Sherman could get the phone.
The complaint says that Tina Sherman immediately began receiving text messages on her phone from strangers seeing her photos and information. She says it got so bad that the couple were forced to leave their jobs and home to move elsewhere.
The Sherman’s are asking for $3 million in damages.
So, do they have a case? Or is this simply a case of stupidity? Let me know your thoughts.
Stupidity, not in taking the images as lots of people do that but assuming MD are responsible for them thats stupidity I hope they get the case thrown out as they could easily have left the phone at MD on purpose hoping that this would happen so they could make a quick dollar out of it.

This sounds like a con to me. They take the pictures, they intentionally leave it behind, they anonymously post the photos themselves somewhere, and then go after the big money. All of this should be traceable, and I’d get extreme satisfaction out of it being proven to be a simple, stupid con…
